There are alot of new works on my etsy site now. After one big big big year of birthing and babies I have started making a few things. Nothing major, its just that if i dont make stuf i cant breathe!!!

Not really but I really wanted to share the story behind this series which I started about a year ago.
Within each piece is a segmant of pali text, which is a form of snskrit written by the burmese . I have always been fascinated by the text as my mother had been handed down an original scripture of palinese text written on ivory and gold edging... It alwys emanated such beauty and devotion... So I decided to begin an artistic exploration with this in mind. what I came to with it is that truth ( illumination) remains regardless of the hardships and challenges we endure , for example the beauty and devotion contained within them. It reflects my own journey and that of all humans everywhere, that of transformation and yet staying the same ... the truth remains.
So here is the latest in that series and the last one remaining in my possession for a while , I would love to make some more but who knows what will happen

It can be a challenge... but my question is and remains unanswered.... Does buiding an online presence really help you sell your work? So far it hasnt helped me at all... I can't have any exhibitions for a while and thought I'd try it out... its been about 6 months all up, slowly building it up and by no means have i gone all out, but I'm getting there with having a presence on the web and its fun to... but very time consuming, especially with a 4 year old and another baby due in January.....
So I really need to sell some work, I realised after not working for a while that this is the most broke I have been since leaving highschool...
